OpsTruth

Read-only operational checks that make the evidence and gaps in AI-assisted engineering visible.

VerificationAI engineering

The problem#

An AI-assisted change can look finished while important runtime or production checks remain incomplete. I wanted a clearer account of what changed, what was inspected and what was still unproven.

My contribution#

I build and maintain OpsTruth as part of my wider engineering work. This portfolio entry describes a product I own; it is not an independent review of that product.

Approach#

The public repository describes a stack-aware, read-only CLI that inspects a repository, selects safe probes, gathers evidence and reports risks. It also documents a hosted MCP service and a GitHub action. The distinction between checked and unverified outcomes is central to the project.

Current scope#

The repository README checked on 22 October 2026 identifies version 0.2.0 as an early public testing release. Its fixture example explicitly separates successful basic checks from runtime and production verification that was not performed.

Explore the work#

Start with the public README, then inspect the source and release evidence relevant to your environment. This portfolio entry is a sourced overview; it does not establish coverage for an untested repository or deployment.
